I started in recruitment, but it didn't take long to realize hiring was never really about filling a seat. Behind every resume was potential. Behind every requirement was a business trying to solve something. And behind every hire was a decision that could quietly shape a whole team.
So I learned to look past the resume, and into what could actually be built.
From recruitment to U.S. Staffing, executive search, and talent strategy.
Today, U.S. Staffing is a core part of my work. I lead our U.S. staffing practice at AurumWorks LLC, helping companies navigate talent needs across technical, professional, leadership, and specialized roles while keeping the realities of the U.S. hiring market, compliance, quality, and speed firmly in view.
Technical recruiting pulled me deeper into technology. Executive search introduced me to leadership. And US staffing and state government hiring taught me to work where speed, quality, and compliance all collide at once, where getting it right actually matters.
Along the way, hiring for and alongside companies like Microsoft, Amazon, LinkedIn, and Deloitte taught me something that stuck: it's not enough to know who to hire. You have to understand why that person matters to the business.
Today my work spans technical, executive, and leadership talent, and the emerging fields that are reshaping everything: Agentic AI, LLMOps, AI security, OT/ICS cybersecurity, quantum computing, full-stack and UI, data and engineering.
It's about understanding the market, the business, and the people in between.
U.S. hiring comes with its own complexities. Different markets. Different expectations. Different compliance requirements. Different talent pools.
You have to move quickly, but you can't afford to move carelessly. You have to understand what the business actually needs, where that talent exists, how to reach it, and what will make the right person say yes.
That's the part of U.S. Staffing I enjoy most. Not simply building a pipeline, but understanding the market behind it and helping businesses make better hiring decisions.
Technology never stands still, so talent strategy can't either. As new fields emerge, the questions get harder: who really understands this, who can build it, who can lead it, and who can take it somewhere new.
I've found the harder the technology gets, the more human judgment matters. That's where I like to work, right at the meeting point of people, technology, and possibility.
Finding great people is only half of it. The best people also have to find you, understand you, and believe in what you're building. That's what led me into the digital side of talent: employer branding, SEO, recruitment campaigns, social media, targeted outreach.
Recruitment finds the talent. The digital work gives them a reason to choose you.
How I think about the work
I've never been interested in just following a map when you can draw a better one. I try to see a little further than the horizon allows, and turn insight into strategy, and strategy into something that actually lasts.
What I stand for
The thread through all of it: don't build for where a business is today. Build for where it's going.
My foundation came from a Post Graduate Program in Human Resource Management at IIMT, India, and my perspective widened with a Post Graduate Program in Digital Marketing at Purdue University, Indiana, USA, which took me beyond recruitment into positioning, visibility, and growth.
Let's build what's next
Whether you're starting a company, scaling a team, untangling a hard talent problem, or looking for the people who could change your next chapter, I'd love to start a conversation.
